WEEK 5

This is our last week looking at dinosaurs boys and girls. I hope you get a chance to finish your dinosaur-I haven’t finished mine either! Take as long as you need.
I miss the fact that we would have been dressing up as Palaeontologists and digging for dinosaur fossils. This last week maybe you could try some of the fossil tasks below. Plus one last thing Boys and girls! - try to draw your own ‘Gregosaurus’ using this Tutorial from Rob Biddulph and send your pics into school. I’m going to give it a go too! Enjoy. smiley

Gregosaurus!

I had an important message to do and this is what greeted me when I opened my car door! It was small and cute to begin with but then it started to grow! In the end it didn’t do me any harm, it was actually quite placid! laugh

Look who was in my car!

Ms St. Clair sent me this idea! Looks fun!

WEEK 2

  • Dinosaurs that were herbivores and dinosaurs that were carnivores. Name them.

Start gathering junk materials to make a dinosaur.

As part of our Dinosaur topic we usually made our own dinosaurs at home. Your challenge is to make one dinosaur using junk materials. Talk to an adult about your choice. Discuss shape, size and colour. Talk about the materials and equipment you will need to make your dinosaur. When you have gathered all your equipment and materials have a go at making your dinosaur. Remember to talk about how you are going to join the materials to make the different body parts, head, body, legs, tail, eyes, etc. Take as long as you need to make your dinosaur. When your dinosaur is made send us a photo to share on our class page. Have fun!  Thank you.
