We used 2D shapes to make dinosaurs!
It is taking us a while to make, but look at our dandelion alphabet! So far, so good! It should be finished soon!

Earth Day 2021
We watched a presentation to find out some information about Earth Day! 
We talked about our favourite places outside, why we like them and what makes them special. We are now more aware of plastic pollution and what it does to our environment and our animals. During our discussion Miss Hoy turned the lights off - we decided to 'power down' to help to save our earth too! 
After that, we played a little game to teach us the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. We are already very good at this - we have special bins in our classroom! 
Every day is Earth Day to us! 
Then we took our learning outdoors! We enjoyed our Earth Day nature walk. We found lots of amazing living things and even lifted up any rubbish that we came upon. We made the word 'Earth' with twigs, alphabet letters with dandelions and painted rocks to brighten up our school environment. We had a fantastic day!
