Sunday 31st May 2020.
Good morning to all our parents and guardians and another great BIG HELLO to you, Primary One! I hope you are all well and happy. Miss McElroy and I miss you sooo much! It’s Pentecost Sunday! Tomorrow is the first day of June, our last month of school and your last month in P.1.
Another fast week for me, but I think the fantastic weather helped a lot! I’m still keeping myself busy, school work, walking, baking, phone calls to friends and family. I made soda bread three times! I had a few special visitors to school on Friday – seeing them made my day! My caterpillars are now at the chrysalis stage and I moved them to their new habitat yesterday – it won’t be long now!!!
Once again I'd like to say well done boys and girls for continuing to work so hard and a special thank you to all the adults for helping you to do your best. At this stage of the year we try to complete most of our activities independently (after explanation) but you may still need support with some of them. Remember to do what is manageable - we all learn at different paces. Continue to send in your photos, even the ones of your fun times and continue to do your very best, you are doing a fantastic job! There’s another wee certificate for you below!
I made a little video on Friday that I’d like to share. You'll find it in the video gallery section beside our bear hunt video! It’s linked to your last P.1 assembly ‘I am Special’ - you really are a special class of children!
I will continue to check in this week on a daily basis with a little note and some more challenges! Have a lovely week everyone. Have fun with the “Great Bann Bake Off” competition - can’t wait to see your creations! Enjoy the sunshine too.
Miss you lots. Stay safe.
