From, Miss Hoy.

This week in St. Colman's Bann we are having an Internet Safety Week. On Monday 10th February we went around the classrooms to share PowerPoint Presentations to each of the classes about ' Free to be ME - Exploring identity online'.

Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 11th February and the presentation helped us to encourage the children in our school to explore how they manage their online identity and how the internet shapes how they think of themselves and others.

We would also like everyone to take part in a poster competition to encourage us to stay safe online. We chose   the following ideas for their posters:

P1 – Pop Ups

P2/3 – Screen Time

P3/4 – Messaging / photographs

P4/5 – Personal information

P6/7 – Social Media

On  One poster from each class will receive a certificate and small treat at our assembly on Friday 14th February.

      Thank you.
