Sunday 10th May 2020.

Good morning to all our parents and guardians and another great BIG HELLO to you, Primary One! We are approaching another week of home learning and I hope you continue to remain happy, healthy and safe.  I’ve been in contact with Miss McElroy, and she and her family are all safe and well. We both miss you all very much.

I don’t know about you, but last week flew for me! The weather was lovely again and the flowers, plants and trees had some rain to quench their thirst. When I was out walking, I couldn’t get over the number of dandelion puff seeds that were floating about in the air, they were so mesmerizing!

I continued to keep myself busy, I even went into school for a wee visit. It’s not the same without you.

On Thursday evening I joined my neighbours on the street (social distancing of course!) to play a few games of BINGO! It ended just in time for us to clap and cheer for the NHS at 8pm. £300. was raised for the ambulance service.

I tried out the Yoga poses I left for you yesterday in my daily notes section - I’m definitely going to continue on with this!

Your home learning activities for the week are set out as before. Remember to check our new WAU section on ‘The Farm', our new 'Grow in Love' section and ‘Sustrans-Keep fit with Dave’ section as well. Thank you parents for all your support with home learning. I wish I could chat to you in person to tell you that I really appreciate how hard you are all working with your children at home. You are doing an amazing job. 

Once again boys and girls, continue to enjoy spending precious time with your family and most importantly please take care and stay safe. Keep sending in your photos and continue to do your very best. I am so impressed with all the fantastic things you have been doing. I’ve added a another wee certificate for you below and another link for your mums and dads. I will continue to check in on a daily basis with a little note plus a little challenge on our ‘Daily challenge from Miss Hoy’ section.
