Vision, Mission and Core Values
As part of our preparation for our new School Development Plan, in January 2025, pupils, parents, staff and Board of Governors were canvassed for their views on the creation of vision and mission statements for our school, in order to articulate what our school represents.
Stakeholders were also asked to vote on their preferences for six core values for our school.
We are delighted to share our vision and mission statements below and the six core values that were chosen. We hope to develop our own definitions for each core value with the help of all stakeholders in the very near future.
Our Vision Statement
Our vision is to strive to nurture every child to their full potential inspired by our school motto “Jesus Others Yourself” (JOY)
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to be a happy, inclusive and safe school at the heart of the community inspired by our Catholic faith where children are challenged, inspired and empowered to achieve their full potential in becoming confident, successful young people equipped for a multi-cultural and technological society.
