For World Maths Day, the children used mathematical language within their play. The boys and girls came up with some amazing creations.
All things Volume and Capacity! The children enjoyed guessing which containers had the greatest capacity. They also guessed which container had the greatest volume and we checked it afterwards. We used language such as: full/empty/half full/ nearly full.
Preparing our patches for potato planting.
