Session 3 Aspire
Today we met again and continued our work with Carlos on our emotions. We talked about the importance of being kind, always. We had great fun playing in the Garden at Gilford Primary School too. What a great day for it!
Session 2 Aspire
Today, we had session 2 of our Aspire Program. Sinead lead the work shop based on the story, "The Rainbow Fish."
The rainbow fish with its iridescent scales is the most beautiful fish in the whole ocean. However, he becomes very sad and lonely.
It is a lovely, heart-warming story of sharing and the happiness that sharing can bring yourself and others.
We were great listeners and created the most wonderful pictures. It was a great day!

Aspire
Carlos led us in our workshop today. It was all about keeping our minds healthy and strong!
The key words were, RESILIENCE, KINDNESS and EMPATHY. We worked in groups to discuss ways in which we can show empathy and kindness to others as well as learning what we can do to make ourselves more resilient when things don't go our way, when we encounter problems and how we overcome this.
