We were delighted to welcome Sr. Mercedes back to our school on Wednesday 7th November. Below is a copy of a letter she sent to us after her visit.

Dear Darragh & Staff

 I want to thank you and all the staff for the very warm welcome today when I visited your school. Great to be back again it was like coming from home to home. There is a lovely atmosphere in your school. We can write about Ethos in Mission Statements but it has to be experienced and certainly experienced the Catholic Ethos today in your lovely school.

Well Done! You have successfully taken on board the new RE Programme Grow in Love which is in every class now from P1 to P7. I know it takes time to get used to it and make it your own. But it will be well worth the effort as it has a lot to offer both in content and in resources.

The children are so friendly, open and mannerly. It was evident from their responses to me that they are enjoying getting to know God from your RE teaching. You must have been very proud of them as you heard them share with me all they have remembered already from what you have taught them this term. Well done to you all for the many ways you are helping them to grow in their faith. You are great role models for them.

I wish you every blessing and success in all you undertake throughout 2018/19.
