Sunday 21^st June 2020.

Hello to all our parents and guardians and a great big shout out to you, Primary One!

Miss McElroy and I miss you so much. It was good to see her in person, in school last week.

Can you believe that this is the final full week of home learning? I’m sure you are delighted!  This week we should have been having our family fun day (today), going on our end of year trip and performing in our last assembly! 

Did you see the P7 Leavers video? It was amazing and sad at the same time! It brought tears to my eyes! I wish them well on their new journey. I’ve made a little video of your P1 journey too boys and girls. It will be posted on the school video gallery this week. I hope you and your family enjoy it. Good memories!

I am very sad that you didn’t get to finish your P1 year in school. As you know we are getting ready to come back again in September. It will be a little different. There will be new boys and girls in our class and you will be in your new Primary 2 classroom. I look forward to the day when I see you all together again! 

In your home learning for this week I’ve added revision tasks, plus some activities related to your feelings and ‘bubbles’ that everyone is talking about. I’ve also added a link below that you can look at, it's about returning to school. There's also a link for parents. As always, do what’s best for you and when it suits. No pressure.

Once again, I am truly grateful for all your hard work over these past number of weeks and I thank you ALL most sincerely; boys and girls, mums and dads. I am so proud of you all and what you have achieved. I've added your last certificate below! I would love it very much if you would send in some photos of your last week. They can be of anything you wish.   

I will be in school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If possible, would you please return any library books, reading books, writing boards, clocks, Unifix cubes and  red/yellow counters. I hope Barnaby wants to come back! 

I will continue to check in on a daily basis with a little note and I hope you are up for some final challenges!
