Daily Challenges 4

7th June - Good morning boys and girls. It's Trinity Sunday today! Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. The shamrock is made up of three separate leaves that make one plant, just like the Holy Trinity with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit all making up one God. When I was training to become a teacher Sr. Margaret, a nun who taught me R.E. used a 'Twix' bar to explain the Holy Trinity. smiley I've added a link below for you to look at as well. Have a lovely Sunday everyone, whatever you decide to do, enjoy!heart

P.S. Answer to yesterday's challenge is 6! 2+1+3=6 laugh

I went to TESCO yesterday. You have to stand in a queue before you get in. Today’s challenge is another Numeracy one!
As I was standing in the queue I noticed two people in front of me and three people behind me. How many people were in the queue altogether? One way to get the answer is to draw the people! wink Have a good day. heart

Today I have a Numeracy challenge for you. Look at my clock below. What time is it?

If I go shopping one hour before that, what time will it be?

If I arrive home two hours after the time you see on my clock, what time will it be?

Use your school clock to help you. You will need to move the hands backwards and forwards to get your answers! Good luck!heart

3rd June - Good morning boys and girls. People in the United States of America celebrate national egg day today!smiley

I challenge you to find the USA on a map of the world or on a globe PLUS, find out how many types of farm animals lay eggs.

2nd June - Good morning boys and girls. Do you like my avatar? Yes, that picture above is supposed to be me in school! laugh Today’s challenge is for you to make your own avatar. Mum or dad can help you. All you have to do is to log in to Twinkl on a computer, search for Avatar and follow the instructions from there. If you make one, I’d love you to send it into school. I’m going to make another one, with a different background! laugh Have fun! heart

P.S. I joined The Wildlife Trusts annual nature challenge, 30 Days Wild! It started yesterday!
