20th June - Good morning boys and girls. It’s Saturday! It’s also the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is another name we use to show our devotion to Jesus’ mummy. It reminds us of Mary’s love for Jesus and for God. Today, remember to tell your family how much you love them. Enjoy your weekend. heart

P.S. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year - that means it has the most hours of sunlight. In the UK it will take place tonight at 10:43pm. The summer solstice marks the end of spring and the start of summer. It will end with the autumn equinox, which falls this year on 22nd September.laugh

17th June - Good morning boys and girls. Today is ‘Eat Your Vegetables Day’.

We all need to eat vegetables as part of our healthy diet. The idea of this day is to encourage us to have a vegetable with every meal, as well as having a vegetable for a snack each day. When we were at school some of you used to eat carrots, cucumber and peppers. Carrots are my favourite vegetable-what’s yours? Your challenge today, is simply to eat your vegetables! Plus, if you wish, there’s a wee PowerPoint quiz below!wink Enjoy. heart

Yummy!

16th June- Good morning boys and girls. I took some photos and video clips yesterday. I put them together to make a little movie. I can’t take credit for the title photo but the rest were all taken by me!laughSee below.

Today is World Sea Turtle Day! World Sea Turtle Day highlights the importance of and celebrates sea turtles swimming around the world. Sea turtles live in oceans around the world, and some live to be 80-100 years old. There are seven types of sea turtles — green, loggerhead, Kemp’s ridley, olive ridley, hawksbill, flatback and leatherback — and all of them are endangered. Scientists estimate that sea turtles have been swimming around for 110 million years, which makes them as old as dinosaurs!laugh I challenge you today, to find out one interesting fact about sea turtles and write it down. Maybe you could draw one too! wink

P.S. It’s also National Fudge Day! My mummy loves fudge! I’m going to try to make some before the end of the week.

Have a good day everyone! heart
