We turned into mathematical model makers! We have been exploring 3D shapes and discovering how a flat 2D pattern- called a net- can magically fold up into a solid cube.
There was fantastic concentration in the room as everyone practiced their measuring, cutting, folding, and gluing skills. It was wonderful to see flat sheets of paper transform into brilliant 3D cubes right before our eyes. Well done to all of our mini-engineers!
