21st January - Good morning boys and girls. Jack Frost and Elsa were out last night before I went to sleep and then the rain wakened me very early this morning!
It is ‘Thankful Thursday’ and it’s also ‘Grandma’s Day’ in Poland.
Many thanks for all the fantastic photos of yourselves and your work and thank you for your lovely compliments for our star of the week. There’s still time to email your message -I’m looking forward to reading them out at assembly!
Today I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to your parents and guardians for all their hard work helping you to learn at home. They are doing a fantastic job.
I hope you say ‘thank you’ after you complete your tasks every day. Maybe you could make them a ‘thank you’ card or write a ‘thank you’ message and put it into you Gratitude jar!
Enjoy your day boys and girls.
Stay safe and keep in touch.
20th January - Good morning boys and girls. I really enjoyed the zoom P.E yesterday, I hope you did too!
Many thanks for all the lovely comments for our star of the week. I’m not going to share them on the website - I’m keeping them all and will read them out at our assembly on Friday!
It’s Wellbeing Wednesday again! Today I’d like you to talk about worries. If I am worried, I talk to my family or friends. It’s good to talk. In our classroom we have a worry box to take our worries away.
I’ve added a few links below for you to look at.
I hope you have a worry free day boys and girls.
Stay safe and keep in touch.
19th January - Good morning boys and girls. We have a Star of the Week! When you check the video, will you think of one nice thing to say about our star and ask an adult to email it to me please. It’s a great way of staying connected. Thank you.
Looking forward to our zoom P.E session this morning.
Ps. Did you hear about storm Christoph on the news? Yellow warnings have been issued for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. Can you find these places on a map? Lots of rain is forecast to fall from the sky. Maybe you could make a rain gauge like the one suggested in our WAU section, (Weather station garden craft instructions) to measure the amount of rainfall this week.
Have a great day everyone.
Stay safe and keep in touch.
18th January - Good morning boys and girls. I can’t believe it’s the start of another week! I’m in school today so I’ll be picking out our next Star of the Week. I will let you all know as soon as I can.
Today is National Winnie the Pooh Day! Winnie The Pooh author A.A. Milne’s birthday was on the 18th January 1882, which is why Winnie The Pooh Day is celebrated on this date every year. I love reading books about Pooh Bear and his friends. Check out one of his mini adventures by clicking on this link:
Have a good day.
Stay safe and keep in touch.
