Sunday 7th February 2021.
Good morning to all our parents and guardians and another great BIG HELLO to you, Primary One! We are approaching another week and I hope you continue to remain happy, healthy and safe.
Thank you parents for all your support with home learning. I really appreciate how hard you are all working with your children at home. You are doing an amazing job. It was great to chat to you on Friday and it was lovely to see some of you in person too boys and girls - it made my day, seeing your lovely smiles! I can’t get over how tall you are getting!
I don’t know about you, but last week flew for me! Lots of different weather again! I’m hoping for more snow! I didn’t walk as much but I made some yummy chocolate chip cookies. Its nice to see that some of you are baking too, it’s a nice distraction!
Your home learning activities for the week are set out as before and remember to use your booklets to reinforce your learning. It is the start of Internet Safety Week with a special “Safer Internet Day” on Tuesday 9th February. The theme is “An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world”. Safer Internet Day will be celebrated globally with the slogan: “Together for a better internet”. I will check in on a daily basis with a little note plus a little activity regarding internet safety on our ‘Daily message from Miss Hoy’ section.
Once again boys and girls, continue to enjoy spending precious time with your family and most importantly please take care and stay safe. Keep sending in your photos and continue to do your very best. I am so impressed with all the fantastic things you have been doing so I’ve added a another wee certificate for you below. I hope to see you in the morning (9:30am) at our zoom catch up!
Miss you very much boys and girls.
